Desinging Your Life Book Club

Designing Your Life — A Therapist-Facilitated Book Club 6 sessions · Every other Sunday · 10:00–11:30am · April–June 2026 · Virtual

Is this for you?

If you’re at a crossroads, in transition, or wondering is this really it? — this book club is for you. Whether you're navigating a career shift, a life change, or just a persistent feeling that something needs to move, this is a space to slow down, get curious, and actually do something about it.

What we'll do together

Using Designing Your Life, the best-selling book/Stanford course by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, as our framework, we'll move from stewing in uncertainty and anxiety to taking real steps forward — together. This isn't about having all the answers. It's about ideating, trying, and living into the questions in a way that feelings meaningful and practical.

As a therapist, I'll bring in somatic and nervous system work alongside the book's design-thinking approach, because knowing what you want isn't always the problem. Sometimes it's the fear, the inertia, or the old patterns that get in the way. We’ll work with all of it.

Over six sessions you'll:

  • Get clear on what actually matters to you — not what should matter

  • Build your own compass for navigating uncertainty

  • Run small, real-world experiments toward a life that fits

  • Work through what's been keeping you stuck

  • Do it alongside a small group of people who get it
